well this is sadly all true. with society today the kids ask whatever they want and parents give or they get "punished." actually, most women feel a lot more confident in themselves wearing such clothing, as such, so do moms, you all apparently dont know women too well. Moms buy their daughters stuff like that all the time, its not like they are buying them for them to walk around the street like that, its typically held for a partners eyes only (or girlfriends and moms because they do like ot show each other).
